Spring is arriving in Reno, and with it comes a chance to learn how to care for one of the city’s most popular flowers.
The City of Reno is hosting its annual rose pruning demonstration on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Reno Municipal Rose Garden inside Idlewild Park, just east of the California Building.
The free class is open to the public and will be led by the city’s horticulturist, Ryan Sharrer, who will walk people through how to prune different types of roses and share additional tips for spring gardening…
