SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The camps didn’t disappear—they moved.
After authorities shut down a long-standing encampment along the south side of Interstate 80 near the Truckee River, people living there relocated just across the highway. Now, on the north side of I-80 east of Sparks, tents have reappeared in the dirt ravines—bringing with them a new and more immediate danger.
