The U.S. Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested 147 fugitives between Jan. 1 and March 31, including several in Reno and Sparks, clearing 164 outstanding warrants in Nevada and other jurisdictions, officials said.
Those arrested were wanted for a range of offenses, including five for homicide, five for kidnapping, five for robbery, 17 for aggravated assault, three for burglary, 30 for drug offenses, two for escape, 26 for firearm offenses and 34 for sex offenses. Two missing children were also recovered.
