Nevada find podium places to close out the weekend in the bay

Berkeley, Calif. – Nevada Track and Field competed across multiple sites over the weekend, turning in strong efforts at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, and the Stanford Invitational. The Wolf Pack showcased depth across the sprints, hurdles, relays, and field events with several top-five finishes and consistent performances.

At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, Nevada was represented in the 800m, led by Kylee Denver, who placed 17th with a time of 2:09.97. Skylar Bennett followed in 109th after finishing in 2:18.69, while Tristan Garner crossed the line in 2:29.66 to place 177th.

The Brutus Hamilton Invitational provided numerous highlights for the Wolf Pack. In the hurdle events, Misa Holland led the way in the 100m hurdles, placing 15th with a time of 14.89, while Savana Chalmers finished 19th in 15.04. Leylah Diaz competed in both the sprints and hurdles, finishing 18th in the 100m with a time of 12.41 and placing eighth in the 400m hurdles at 1:03.48. Caitlynn Holt finished 53rd in the 100m in 13.30 and added a 13th-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.38. Jasmine Harris also competed in the 400m hurdles, placing 14th in 1:05.50…
