Mother’s Day weekend will be a warm one across the Truckee Meadows, with temperatures in Reno expected in the 80s and potentially 90s by Sunday.
Saturday is looking fantastic, with plenty of sunshine across the board. Around 8 AM, temperatures will already be sitting in the upper 50s, and it’s low to mid 70s by noon. Reno’s forecasted high will be near 84 degrees. Easterly winds around 5 mph are expected in the afternoon, but otherwise, calm conditions.
Conditions around Lake Tahoe will also be phenomenal. Around breakfast time, expect temperatures to be around 49 degrees, quickly warming to the upper 60s by noon. South Lake Tahoe’s forecasted high is 78 degrees. Similarly to Reno, winds are expected to be light throughout the day.
