4.05 quake rattles 20 miles north of Yerington, according to U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Information Center

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On Sunday, May 10, at 11:22 a.m., there was a magnitude 4.05 earthquake measured using the Regional Moment Magnitude about 20.7 miles north of Yerington, according to the United States Geological Survey National Earthquake Information Center and the Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno.

It had a depth of 6.59 miles, 21 stations, and 25 phases, according to the laboratory’s reviewed earthquake report…
