The Road Ahead: Arlington Bridges project nears completion

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Arlington Avenue Bridges Replacement Project is just a few weeks away from wrapping up. Construction will finish less than a year after it started. The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) says this project will transform a major part of downtown Reno.

“So, we’re very excited at RTC to be wrapping up the Arlington Bridges project. So this project is about a year total construction which is pretty amazing when you consider what it could have been two and a half seasons almost. So we’re getting ready to reopen this to the public in early June,” said Josh MacEachern, Public Information Officer with RTC.
