According to Patch, 40 companies have been listed as the best to work for in the country. Four of them are in Richmond, Virginia:
- Altria
- CarMax
- Dominion Energy
- Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond
U.S. News & World Report compiled the list based on the following:
- pay and benefits
- work-life balance and flexibility
- job stability
- physical and psychological comfort
- opportunities for career growth and professional development
Carly Chase, vice president of Careers at U.S. News, said in a news release:
“Job seekers’ definitions of ‘best’ evolve with their needs. The ratings are meant to help both employers looking for workplace best practices and job seekers comparing companies.”
