RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Anti-America vandalism over the Fourth of July weekend at the Texas Inn on Park Avenue in Richmond has left its owner confused and angry. He believes it happened overnight Saturday as celebrations were coming to a close.
Owner David Saunders said the restaurant, located at 2901 Park Avenue, was closed so staff could spend the Independence Day holiday with friends and family. He’s digging through his surveillance recordings to find who used black spray paint to write “DEATH TO AMERICA” on one of the walls of his business.
“We’re in the hamburger and hotdog business,” Saunders said. “We are not in politics, so leave us alone.”
He filed a police report on Monday, July 6, though no arrests have been made…
