7 new historical markers approved for Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Seven Central Virginia subjects, along with four more across the state, have been designated new historical markers by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources (DHR).

The DHR announced in a press release on Tuesday, July 7, that the Virginia Board of Historic Resources had approved 11 new historical markers at its June quarterly meeting.
