HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to roll up their sleeves and give blood after declaring an emergency blood shortage.
According to the organization, the nation’s blood supply dropped by 25% last month while hospitals continue to see high demand for transfusions.
