RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Over 7,000 Central Virginia homes and businesses are without power Wednesday morning due to severe storms that hit the region.
On Tuesday, July 21, severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain and high-speed wind gusts to Central Virginia, causing flash flooding and knocking out power throughout the area. Similar conditions persisted in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
