RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A flash flood warning has been issued in several Central Virginia localities Tuesday morning.
On Monday, Aug. 3, severe thunderstorms moved into the Central Virginia region, bringing heavy downpours. This severe weather has carried over into Tuesday, Aug. 4, with our StormTracker8 team expecting some localized flooding and water buildup in some areas.
The following Central Virginia localities are under a flash flood warning until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday:
- Chesterfield County
- Henrico County
- City of Hopewell
