CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – Chesterfield Fire and EMS spent part of their Saturday containing a brush fire in Matoaca.
Earlier this evening, crews were called to Church Road for the brush fire, which burned between two and three acres of stumps and demolition debris.
The agency worked with the Virginia Department of Forestry to contain the fire within a fire line, but firefighters said it will continue to smolder and burn for several days…
