HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — After a child wandered from Ashland Elementary School’s playground area during recess on Tuesday and was later found by bystanders, officials began investigating and an employee at the school was placed on administrative leave.
A child left the school playground area at Ashland Elementary School during recess in the morning on Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to a spokesperson for Hanover County Public Schools.
