RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Richmond is continuing its Vision Zero Initiative, an effort to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries, with a new push to lower the state’s blood alcohol concentration limit.
The city’s Safe and Healthy Streets Commission has recommended lowering Virginia’s BAC limit from 0.08 to 0.05 when the 2027 legislative session begins.
