RICHMOND, Va. — A cold front is moving towards the North Carolina border. Scattered storms have developed in southern Virginia, and are tracking eastward.
Elsewhere, there are a few isolated storms. Thunderstorms chances will increase this evening, with higher chances south of Richmond.
A few storms could have strong gusts, and there is a marginal risk for severe weather.
Tonight will be muggy with areas of fog developing. Lows will range from the mid 60s northwest to the lower 70s south.
Saturday will be muggy and unsettled. While it will not rain the whole day, there will be the potential for occasional batches of showers and storms to develop.
