Last night in the 804 was definitely a movie when Shy Glizzy came through and turned the whole place up. The energy was crazy from the crowd, and Glizzy really came out and did what he does best. Everybody was vibing, singing along, and showing love. It was a good night for Richmond to have somebody from the DMV come down and bring that type of energy.
For those who don’t know, Shy Glizzy is a DC native, so having him in Richmond made the night even more special. He’s been representing DC and the DMV through his music for years, and you can really hear that influence in his sound. Richmond and DC are only a couple hours apart, so that DMV connection was definitely felt in the 804 last night…
