Richmond, Va. (WRIC) — Sunny skies will be across Central Virginia today, but it will be a windy and cool day for this time of year with highs only in the upper 50s to near 60.
Clear skies will be with us tonight and it will be chilly with our overnight lows in the lower 40s across Metro Richmond while many areas to the north and west will dip into the upper 30s.
A big coastal storm will dominate our weather for most of the week ahead, and with that we will have the risk of coastal and tidal flooding thanks to a persistent northeast wind beginning Monday through Thursday morning.
We will see partly sunny skies for most of central Virginia for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday however along the coast you can expect more clouds and the risk of a few showers, especially during Tuesday and Wednesday. Our high temperatures will top out in the middle 60s on Monday but climb into the upper 60s to near 70 for Tuesday and Wednesday. Keep in mind those of you along the coast will be as much as 10 degrees cooler than areas across Metro Richmond…
