Church Hill cocktail bar Pink Room is back — but only for seven more weeks.
Why it matters: It’s the last call for the intimate, 18-seat, all-pink bar, which will close for good Dec. 19 alongside its neighboring restaurant, Metzger Bar & Butchery.
State of play: Richmond chef and restaurateur Brittanny Anderson reopened Pink Room last week, days after announcing plans to shutter Metzger after a 12-year run.
- Anderson said on Insta that post-pandemic challenges and a particularly difficult 2026 contributed to the decision to close Metzger.
Flashback: Pink Room opened in May 2024 but was shut down two months later over a zoning issue. It reopened that fall before taking a hiatus for summer 2026…
