RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Daily Planet Health Services, a group which provides support and health services to the Richmond area’s homeless population, has announced that its outreach van that was recently stolen has been found and returned to them.
According to a Facebook post from the group, the van was seen in Stafford County by someone who knew it was stolen after seeing local news coverage of the theft .
The person called Daily Planet Health Services, who then contacted the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office and learned that deputies were already on their way to the location.

Members of the Daily Planet Health Services team drove to Stafford to meet the deputies, who turned the van over to them. The van has since made its way back to Richmond.
