Richmond Police searching for suspect in multiple robberies on Chamberlayne Avenue

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is asking for the community’s help identifying a man suspected in multiple Chamberlayne Avenue robberies.

According to police, on Saturday, Jan. 20 at around 11 a.m., a man stole an item from a person after he had entered a store located in the 2900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue before fleeing on foot.

At around 11:05 a.m., another robbery was reported on the same street. According to police, the same suspect entered another business and displayed a firearm, demanding money from an employee. The suspect then stole the money and fled on foot.

Anyone who can identify the suspect, pictured above, is asked to call Fourth Precinct Detective Sergeant M. Stella at 804-646-4656 .
