RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Is your dog or cat an especially good boy/girl? Pet owners have until Wednesday, Jan. 31, to enter their rescue pet into the Richmond Animal Care and Control’s dog and cat show .
A spokesperson for the event said all winners will be alerted on Tuesday, Feb. 6 and further participation information will be given at that time.
The top 10 winners from each below dog class — who must be well-behaved and leashed — will be invited to participate in person with their dog at Richmond’s Main Street Station from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.
Dogs will compete within the “Muttminster” competition for following categories:
- Best Missing Body Part
- Best Pretend Purebred
- Best Rescue Story
- Best Sploot
- Best Smile
- Best Tricks
- Best Underbite
- Best Wiggle Bottom
- Biggest Bark
- Biggest Ears
- Best Costume/Outfit
- Floofiest Dog
- Longest Tail
- Most Beautiful Pit Bull
- Most Unique Markings
- Shortest Legs
- Shortest Tail
Cats will compete within the “Meowminster” competition for following categories:
