HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division has reported that the remains of a missing man who was last seen in June 2023 have been found.
According to police, human remains were found on a property off Holly Hill Road. Following an analysis, the remains were confirmed to belong to 66-year-old Richard Scott McConnell.
McConnell was reported missing earlier this month but police said he had not been heard from since June 2023. In the past, he had lived off Holly Hill Road in the county’s Tuckahoe District.
Police said there are currently no signs of foul play.

“Thank you to our community members for your assistance in trying to locate Mr. McConnell,” a police spokesperson said.
