Police: 20-year-old Richmond man found dead with gunshot wounds on Vale Street

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The man who was found dead with gunshot wounds on Jan. 16 in South Barton Heights has been identified by the Richmond Police Department.

Richmond Police officers identified the man, whose death is being investigated as a homicide, as 20-year-old Make’L Linton, of Richmond.

At around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, officers were called to the 400 block of Vale Street after it was reported that a person was lying in the road.

Upon their arrival, officers found Linton down and unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
