Lane closures coming to two intersections in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Drivers can expect lane closures coming to two Richmond intersections on the week of Monday, Feb. 12, according to the City of Richmond Department of Public Works.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily lane closures will be in place at the intersection of Warwick Road and Clarkson Road on Monday, Feb. 12, through Thursday, Feb. 15.

According to the department, the closure will allow a contractor to conduct test bores at the intersection as part of the traffic signal upgrade project.

Another lane closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the intersection of Brook Road and Brookland Park Boulevard on Monday, Feb. 12 through Friday, Feb. 16.

The closure is also a part of the traffic signal upgrade project and will allow a contractor to install signal poles and electrical services at the intersection at Brook Road and Brookland Park Boulevard.
