Junior League of Richmond moving to Libbie Mill

The Junior League of Richmond will become the newest tenant at Libbie Mill Midtown in Henrico’s Near West End.

The organization announced earlier this month that it was in the process of moving its headquarters to the 2,717-square-foot space at 5000 Bakers Mill Lane, adjacent to Capital Eye Care and Blue Ridge Cyclery. The move-in date is anticipated to be Feb. 19.

Founded in 1926, the Junior League of Richmond is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. The organization sought a space that had a strong community feel, provided ample parking for its meetings, and provided visibility and accessibility within the community, according to JLR officials.

“The Junior League of Richmond has a distinguished reputation for impacting meaningful, positive change,” said Diane Tidwell, director of property management for Libbie Mill developer Gumenick Properties. “We are looking forward to welcoming the organization and all of its members to enjoy our vibrant and growing community.”
