Chesterfield police identify pedestrian killed by vehicle on Hull Street Road

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County Police Department has released new details after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed on Hull Street Road earlier this week.

Shortly after 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, officers were called to the 10700 block of Hull Street Road for a reported vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

Upon their arrival, officers found a victim — now identified as 72-year-old Landon Lee Taylor Jr. of the 2800 block of Blendwell Road — lying in the westbound lanes. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The striking vehicle remained on scene and the driver is cooperating with police investigation,” a spokesperson with the department said.
