Two people injured after shooting in Richmond’s Northside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two people are injured after police say they were shot near Richmond’s Providence Park area Tuesday evening.

At 7:12 p.m., officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 3700 block of Delmont Street for the report of random gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. One person was treated at the scene and the other was taken to a local hospital.

Both people have non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
