RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Duke’s Mayo — owned by parent company Sauer’s in Richmond — has been named the best overall mayo by Food & Wine .
Food & Wine describes Duke’s as having a “balancing zing” due to its generous use of vinegar, including distilled and cider vinegars.
Duke’s is further described as being creamy due to its use of egg yolks only, but “not so viscous that it sticks to the roof of your mouth.”
