VCU Police seeks suspect in connection to electric bike theft

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — VCU Police detectives is seeking to identify a suspect in connection to the suspect of an electric bike theft.

An electric bike that was parked on VCU’s MCV Campus close to the emergency department entrance, located at 401 N. 12th Street in Richmond.

On Thursday, Aug. 1, VCU’s security cameras captured an individual taking the bike at 8:30 a.m. and riding it down North 10th Street, as well as East Broad Street before leaving the area, according to VCU police.

The bike is valued approximately $2,000.
