RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 South is causing significant backups across Richmond on Thursday.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash took place on Thursday, Aug. 8, at mile marker 76.9, just before the Chamberlayne Avenue interchange.
Southbound traffic is currently backed up to the I-95/I-64/I-195 interchange.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays.
