UPDATE: All lanes are open and the scene is clear.
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Multiple lanes are shut down on Interstate 95 North in Richmond Wednesday night due to a tractor-trailer crash.
The crash took place just after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, on I-95 northbound near Maury Street, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
As of 8:38 p.m., the center and right lanes are closed as first responders work to clear the scene.
VDOT traffic cameras show that traffic is backed up in the area surrounding the crash.
