RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT)-VCU Safety Ambassadors will now ride along on GRTC Pulse and ‘5’ buses in Richmond. The ambassadors are non-armed and non-sworn civilians or students helping VCU Police. Safety Ambassadors have been around for a few years, but having them ride along city buses is new.
