Two fallen Chesterfield firefighters’ names added to memorial in Richmond

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The names of two fallen firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were engraved into the Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial in Richmond on Wednesday.

The names of firefighter Alicia Monahan and firefighter recruit TyVaughn “Ty” Eldridge are now a part of this memorial, located near the Virginia State Capitol, as of Wednesday, Aug. 20. They join the names of other Virginia first responders who have all died in the line of duty.
