Happily Natural Day returns to Richmond’s Southside for its 21st year

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Join in on the celebration of holistic living, cultural heritage and community empowerment at The 21st Annual Happily Natural Day , set to take place next Saturday.

The 21st Annual Happily Natural Day will kick off on Saturday, Aug. 31 at the 5th District Mini Farm, located at 2222 Bainbridge St. in Richmond.

Happily Natural Day was founded in 2003 and has grown to be an esteemed annual event that attracts thousands of participants from the region.

According to the event coordinator, Duron Chavis , the theme of this year’s event is aims to honor the rich history our communities and promote sustainability practices that help to nurture the body and spirit.

In addition, the festival will feature very special guests, The Last Poets , who were a famed music and poetry group that emerged in the late 1960s.
