According to Hopewell City Public Schools , students arrived at the barn in time to bring the horses in from the pastures for breakfast and were introduced to each horse, learning to properly care for, approach and bond with them.

As the project progresses, the school district says students will be immersed in “cowboy culture,” allowing them to connect with the stories in their U.S. History classes by learning about horse care and equipment, as well as eventually learning how to ride a horse.
