Woman has life-threatening injuries after stabbing in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A woman is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after police say she was stabbed in Richmond’s Northside on Friday.

According to the Richmond Police Department, officers responded to the 3100 block of Moss Side Avenue in the city’s Northside at around 11:57 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 for a report of a stabbing.

When they got there, they found a woman who had been stabbed. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.

A police spokesperson told 8News that no information on the suspect in this stabbing is available as of the time of reporting.
