RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) collections will be delayed next week due to Labor Day.
On Monday, Sept. 2, there will be no trash and recycling collections. Red Week recycling collections will be delayed only by one day. Additionally, trash pick ups in Ashland, Colonial Heights and Hopewell will only delayed by one day as well.
CVWMA said collections that are normally scheduled for Friday will be conducted on Saturday. To learn more about the holidays that impact CVWMA collections, visit their website .
