In Richmond, Virginia, at the Richmond Animal Care and Control, a puppy described as “a skeleton with skin” is slowly gaining weight and on her way to recovery. Found roaming the streets of Richmond just five days ago, the puppy, now dubbed Fawn, was barely able to stand up and had to have been one of the skinniest animals the staff had ever seen and cared for since having been rescued and brought to the non profit organization.
