RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Can Can Café at the Library of Virginia has closed less than two years after opening .
According to an Instagram post by the Library of Virginia , the Can Can Café, located in the library’s lobby, has closed due to changes in ownership of the library’s operating partner.
“We apologize for any inconvenience. We look forward to sharing additional updates soon,” the Library of Virginia said in its statement.
The Can Can Café first opened its doors at the Library of Virginia on Sept. 19, 2022 and offered fresh-baked pastries, soup, salad and sandwiches.
