RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) -A heartbreaking post from Richmond Animal Care and Control is now gaining traction on social media and drawing attention to a bigger issue. Someone dropped off a puppy that died of Parvo after the owner only had it for a week. RACC says the dog’s body was put on the counter, and while the shelter does help families who need assistance when a pet dies, this is not the way to go about it.
