43rd Street Festival of the Arts to be held in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The 43rd Street Festival of the Arts will take place in Richmond with food, live music, as well as art and fine crafts.

The 43rd Street Festival of the Arts will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 1410 W. 43rd Street.

The annual juried event will showcase 75 regional artisans and craftsmen who each donate a piece of their work for the event’s art raffle. All donations go directly to support CARITAS , a Richmond-based nonprofit that provides resources for those experiencing homelessness or addiction.

The event will also feature food trucks, live music and activities for all ages. Admission is free.

Parking for the event can be found on various streets in the Forest Hill neighborhood, however several streets will be closed to make room for the artists’ booths.

Food trucks and music will be located in the parking lot of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Additional parking can be found at Forest Hill Park, located at the intersection of W. 42nd St. and New Kent Avenue.
