2024 South African Food & Wine Festival will kick off this weekend in Louisa County

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — This weekend, the South African Food & Wine Festival will kick off at Grayhaven Winery in Louisa County.

The South African Food & Wine Festival is a two-day festival that will begin on Saturday, Sept. 14 through Sunday, Sept. 15. The festival will take place at Grayhaven Winery, located 1675 E. Grey Fox Circle in Gum Spring.

According to the festival organizers, the 2024 South African Food & Wine Festival is a festival that brings South African wine, tradition, entertainment and culture to one place.

The festival is a family-friendly event. Tickets begin at $30 for adults ages 18 and older, kids under 18 are free.

Festival guests can expect live entertainment from Sharon Katz & Peace Train with special guests BESHEEO and many more. In addition to live entertainment, there will be South African wine and food, a vendor market and activities for the kids.
