Woman stabbed in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A woman is injured after police say she was stabbed in Richmond’s Southside Tuesday night.

At 10:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 4600 block of Southwood Parkway for the report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with a stab wound to her stomach. She was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening laceration.

Officials continue to investigate the stabbing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 804-646-5100 .
