This year’s Eerie Canal Tour guests will dive into the mind of Edgar Allen Poe. “The tours will feature décor and vignettes from Poe’s most famous works such as “The Raven,” “The Cask of Amontillado,” and “The Pit and the Pendulum” along with costumed guides narrating his stories as passengers travel down the Kanawha Canal, drifting through the spooky sights and sounds of Richmond’s oldest and most historically haunted Shockoe district,” event organizers said.
