RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — “Spooky season” is upon us, bringing the return of spook-tastic events throughout the Richmond area. Here’s a list of festivals, races, performances, tours and more where attendees can experience frights and delights galore!
🚌Richmond: Halloween Light Tours on the “spooky bus”🚌
Tours will run from Friday, Oct. 18 through Wednesday, Oct. 30 , with spots limited. Attendees will be able to enjoy the following:
- Seeing the spookiest and biggest displays throughout the city
- A customizable route; if you have specific homes to see or pit stops to make, you can let organizers know so that your route can be customized.
- Bringing their beverages on board
- Pick-up and drop-off is included anywhere within Richmond city limits
In addition to those private tours, public tours will be held at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 26 .
🎃Richmond: Capital Trail 10-mile and 5k race🎃
Want to celebrate the spooky season while getting active? A 10-mile and 5k race will be held in the morning on Saturday, Oct. 26 along the Capital Trail, hosted by the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation and Dominion Energy.
