Victims injured after shooting in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — After a shooting on Washington Street injured victims in Petersburg Sunday evening, police are investigating.

In a post to X at 11:53 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29 by the Petersburg Bureau of Police, officials said that officers were investigating a shooting that had occurred in the 1400 block of West Washington Street.

Police said shooting victims have non-life-threatening injuries.
