RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — As part of its ongoing statewide investigation , Virginia State Police seized over 400 pounds of narcotics — valued at approximately $3.1 million combined — and 10 firearms last week.
From March 27 to April 3, Virginia State Police — in partnership with several federal and local agencies — continued its efforts to fight crime across the Commonwealth by recovering firearms, narcotics, illegally-obtained U.S. currency and more.
Over the course of the week, state troopers seized 432 pounds of narcotics, as well as 3,700 controlled substance pills. According to state police, these narcotics would have sold for a combined $3,191,182…
