NORFOLK, Va. — As the boil water advisory continues in Richmond, Hampton city leaders said the water here is not only safe to drink, but there are plans in place to make sure a water quality crisis does not occur.
“I absolutely drink the tap water, I wish I could show you the cup I drink out of twice a day,” said Vicki Smith, water quality manager with the city of Norfolk.
